Conscious hip-hop band The Neighborhood Kids kick off EMBRACE AVC with an energetic live performance,
with a screening of “Somos” (2021), about a young boy locked in an ICE detention center in Texas.
The evening features the AVC Learning Center tutors who will be available to support student achievement.

Legendary trio Chicano Secret Service, the most dangerous comedy troupe in Aztlán,
returns to AVC to give a raw comedic performance with opening music by hip-hop band The Neighborhood Kids.
The evening features the AVC Transfer Center who will be available to support student transfers to four-year institutions of higher learning.
