The Rock Productions brings “Circus Caroussae,” an original theatrical production featuring local youth performers, to the Antelope Valley College Performing Arts Theatre for three performances Oct. 1–3.
Audiences are invited to step into a traveling circus filled with magic, illusion and acrobatics as the production presents a retelling of the story of Joseph from Genesis. The family-friendly show explores betrayal, injustice, tragedy and redemption through the story of a young magician who finds himself caught up in a traveling circus and an unexpected plot.
Written by Clint McClure and Room 2 Content from Faith Community Church and directed by Josie Farrell, “Circus Caroussae” is a limited-engagement production performed by the young actors of The Rock Productions.
The production runs approximately two hours, including a 15-minute intermission.
Children ages 2 and younger who sit on a lap are admitted free. Tickets are $15 for children ages 3–12, $22 for students and military members with ID, and $24 for adults.
